As the core of fiber-optic gyroscopes (FOG), this LiNbO₃-based chip integrates:
-Polarization control: High-extinction-ratio polarizer (>30 dB)
-Signal modulation: Dual electro-optic phase modulators with Vπ·L < 3 V·cm
-Beam splitting: Low-loss Y-junction (<0.2 dB imbalance)
Fabricated via Annealed Proton Exchange (APE) waveguide technology, the MIOC delivers:
-Radiation-hardened reliability: Operates from -55°C to +125°C (MIL-STD-883H compliant)
-Navigation-grade stability: <0.01°/h bias instability for aerospace/defense inertial systems
